Congratulations on completing your Divemaster course, that is just fantastic!!!
We have not found a lot of information online so we have been making a few notes of our own.
I'm really really proud of her - and she has gone on to complete her Advanced Open Water in December last year and has kept diving. We're going to do an update and a new post to keep the information alive.
I'll be letting her know about your comment.
Again ... Congratulations!!

I am so glad to hear that you gave Jasmine a chance! I just completed my Divemaster certification this past summer. In November 2010, I was diagnosed with MS. I am surrounded by so much support from instructors to newly certified OW divers. When I heard my diagnosis, so many thoughts went through my head but.....How could I give up my passion in life. I refuse to let this disease get the best of me!!! There is not a lot of information out there about diving and MS so my advise is.....dive smart and dive safe!

What you are doing is great! Thank you for this post.

There are over 400,000 MS patients in the US and Canada alone, and it's important for them to know that even if their condition isn't the easiest to cope with, their lives cannot be bounded by it, and even if they have a higher or lower level of disability, the can still enjoy life as much as the next person without MS.
